We are looking to kick-start our business development/ sales team with a result driven business development executive. The successful applicant will promote and sell our accountancy, tax, and advisory services to small businesses in the UK
About you
This role is not for the faint-hearted and perseverance is required.
- You will ideally come to us with some business development / sales experience
- You are results driven
- You have outstanding communication skills and a professional and friendly telephone manner
- You enjoy speaking with people enthusiastically
- You have a thick skin and can handle rejection
- You have a positive attitude and you are self-motivated
The position is part time in our West Croydon’s office
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Contacting and following up on leads with a view to arranging an appointment or sending out proposals
- Cold calling/ telesales to generate new business
- Asking probing and exploratory questions to understand prospects requirements
- Sending out business proposals and following up
- Updating our internal database system
- Keeping CRM up to date with all sales activities
- Pitching
- Directory & Awards submissions
- Achieving quarterly targets
- Attend external networking events to generate new leads
- Following up on leads generated by other means
